Bioiberica’s Plant Physiology division was present at the World Congress on Biostimulants in Agriculture (WCBA)
The congress was held on November 26-29, 2012 in Strasbourg, France, and included a presentation by the Plant Physiology division
The World Congress on Biostimulants in Agriculture is an international, scientific and technical meeting for the study of the most recent advances in biostimulant research.
Bioiberica’s Plant Physiology Division sent four representatives to the congress. One of them, Anna Botta, from the R&D&I Department, presented the following lecture: “Enhancing plant tolerance to temperature stress with amino acids: an approach to its mode of action.” With the participation of more than 600 attendants, this year’s edition was a great success.
Biostimulants are increasingly being used worldwide in agricultural production. During the WCBA, a number of recognized international experts discussed the effects of biostimulants in plant nutrition, abiotic stress, plant’s response to disease, plant growth and development, as well as different aspects regarding the laws governing these products in major markets.
