10th American Congress of #FruitFlies
This week we participated in the 10th American Congress of #FruitFlies to share advances in the prevention, eradication and control of this insect in fruit crops. José Benigno Tobar, expert in plant health and manager of Terrafertil (Bioiberica distributor in Guatemala), has presented three studies that we will publish in Redes:
Poster 1: Evaluation of massive trapping with Cera Trap® for the control of Ceratitis capitata in #mango plantations in the Zacapa region. Conclusion: 73.3% reduction in the female population, which implies less pressure from the plague to the crop and a decrease in larvated fruits. Link to video.
Poster 2: Evaluation of massive trapping with Cera Trap® for the control of Ceratitis capitata in citrus plantations in the Santa Rosa region. Link to video.
Poster 3: "Evaluation of massive trapping with Cera Trap® in comparison with ground sprays of GF-120 Naturalyte for the control of Ceratitis capitata in coffee plantations in the region of Acatenango". Link to video.
