Bioiberica launches the new range, AminoQuelant® Flow, in the form of a concentrated suspension of L-α-amino acids, for stress deficiency in crops
- It stands out for its rich content of L-α-amino acids and micronutrients that help make up for manganese and zinc deficiencies in horticultural, fruit and citrus crops.
- It consists of three bioavailable nutrition products: AminoQuelant®-Mn Flow, AminoQuelant®-Zn Flow, and AminoQuelant®-Zn/Mn Flow.
- Manganese and zinc play an essential role in plant health and growth.
Bioiberica Plant Health presents the new AminoQuelant® Flow range with three bioavailable products in the form of a concentrated suspension with L-α-amino acids to combat deficiency stress caused by a paucity of manganese and zinc in horticultural, fruit and citrus crops, among others. The L-α-amino acids are extracted with Bioiberica’s exclusive Enzyneer® technology.
Manganese and zinc are essential micronutrients for plants. Manganese deficiency causes lower chlorophyll content and causes phytopathologies such as chlorosis, mainly in young leaves. On the other hand, zinc is involved in multiple enzymatic reactions, in protein metabolism and in the synthesis of auxins and hormones related to plant growth.
The new formulations developed by the Bioiberica R&D department, the company offers the agricultural sector a product that is richer in micronutrients and more efficient in its absorption and translocation, which also reduces the application dose and the cost of treatment per hectare.
Bioiberica Plant Health has carried out a series of trials on citrus fruits in Murcia comparing the applications of AminoQuelant® -Mn, Zn and Zn/Mn Flow with a commercial reference standard. The results show how the new Flow formulations achieve higher bioavailability of these micronutrients and correct any Zn and Mn deficiencies significantly more efficiently than the standard under conditions of severe chlorosis.
