Terra-Sorb®

A DIGE Proteomic analysis of wheat flag leaf treated with Terra-Sorb Foliar, a free amino acid-based biostimulator.

February 2009
Posters | Bioestimulantes | Terra-Sorb®

The flag leaf is the most important source of carbohydrate during wheat kernel filling. Around a75% of all sugars stored in the kernel come from carbon fixed by this leaf. Terra-Sorb® foliar is anL-α-amino acid-based product from enzymatic hydrolysis for foliar application with a high ratio offree to total amino acids. Previous agronomical studies carried out on grassy, horticultural and treecrops have shown that application of Terra-Sorb ® increases plant photosynthetic activity ...

Growth acceleration of Orlando; Tangelo (Citrus reticulata x Citrus paradisi) in Nurseries With a Commercial Extract of Kelp (Ascophyllum nodosum), a Commercial Amino Acid Mixture, and a Commercial N-Zn-B Fertilizer

August 2008
Posters | Terra-Sorb®

Nursery experiments were carried out in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, to determine the effect of increasing rates of a kelp extract (StimplexTM), a commercial formulation of amino acids (Macro-Sorb RadicularTM) and a fertilizer (PhotogroTM = 2% N, 0.9% Zn and 0.9% B) on the in-nursery growth of ‘Orlando’ tangelo budded on ‘Cleopatra’ rootstock. Every two weeks, Stimplex and Macro-Sorb were applied to the soil and PhotogroTM was sprayed on the tangelo canopy. Untreated plants reached the ad...

Effects of a Biostimulant on the Heat Tolerance Associated with Photosynthetic Capacity, Membrane Thermostability, and Polyphenol Production of Perennial Ryegrass

January 2007
Scientific articles | Terra-Sorb®

Physiological responses of perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne L.) treated with or without Macro-Sorb Foliar (FOLIAR) and subjected to optimal growing conditions or high air temperature stress (20, 28, and 36ºC) were investigated in vivo using three separate growth chamber experiments

Effects of the Application of Amino Acids in Drip Irrigation in Olive Trees

October 2006
Posters | Terra-Sorb®

Olive trees are subject to several types of environmental stress due to their area of distribution (Mediterranean climate). For this reason, olive trees are resistant and are adapted to dry conditions and extreme heat, and have traditionally required little management by olive growers. However, the recent and increasingly widespread application of technology to olive growing (e.g., fertigation) has led to increased advantage being taken of the genetic potential of the tree, which had been re...
