We provide a report on a study carried out in the municipality of Santa Bárbara in the province of Tarragona, Spain. The variety of mandarin chosen was Beatriz, an early clementine, with a plantation density of 606 trees per hectare. The results of the trial shows that the system provides far better plague control to the standard trap treatment used by the farmer.
