Evaluation of the performance of Terra-Sorb® granum in wheat under nitrogen limitation conditions: 3 years of experience

The excessive use of nitrogen fertilizers in extensive crops has generated serious environmental problems, such as the contamination of aquifers and greenhouse gas emissions. This makes it necessary to implement alternative strategies, such as biofertilizers and biostimulants, that allow the reduction of synthetic nitrogen without compromising agricultural performance.

Experience using Terra-Sorb radicular SymBiotic® nitrogen-reducing conditions

The growing demand for sustainable agricultural practices has generated a growing interest in the development of innovative strategies that allow reducing the dependence on synthetic fertilizers without compromising crop productivity. This trial focuses on evaluating the impact of the application of Terra-Sorb radicular SymBiotic®, a formulation based on L-α-amino acids and the exclusive PH-023 strain of Bacillus velezensis , with prebiotic and biofertilizer properties.

Experience of using Terra-Sorb® Granum in field crops in Eastern Europe

Over a four-year period, thorough trials were conducted to evaluate the performance of new biostimulant Terra-Sorb® Granum, specifically formulated for field crops across key regions in Eastern Europe. The following report highlights the most significant findings from trials on oilseed rape, sunflower, soybean, wheat, and corn, carried out by leading research institutions, with a particular focus on studies conducted in Romania and Hungary. Below are some of the most representative trials categorized by crop.

Equilibrium®: use of biostimulation to mitigate alternate bearing in pistachio trees
Authors: Mauro Bernal, Juan Bueno, and Anna Botta. Bioiberica - Plant Health.

One of the problems with pistachio trees, as with other crops, is the high level of alternate bearing in production, being greater in non-irrigated land or plots where the availability of water and nutrients is low. Equilibrium® biostimulant is used in other crops to ensure bud retention and fruit set. This study tested the effect of Equilibrium® leaf treatments on reducing bud drop in annual growths when they compete with the fruit clusters. The results after 2 years of using Equilibrium® show significant increases in the percentage of viable buds, as well as in the productive and quality parameters in those pistachio trees treated with the biostimulant, ensuring the present and future profitability of this crop.
